Common questions

Are my images uploaded to your servers?
No. Every tool on Quick Image runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images are processed locally on your device. Nothing is ever transmitted to our servers. This makes Quick Image safe to use with sensitive, personal or confidential images.
What is EXIF metadata and why remove it?
EXIF metadata is hidden data embedded in image files — especially JPEGs from cameras and smartphones. It commonly includes GPS coordinates (your precise location), the device model and serial number, date and time the photo was taken, and camera settings. Sharing photos with GPS data can expose where you live, work or travel. The Meta Scrubber tool removes all of this before you share.
What formats does the image converter support?
The converter accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP images. You can convert to PNG (lossless, ideal for graphics and transparency) or WebP (smaller file size, ideal for web). Batch conversion lets you process multiple images at once.
How does sketch to vector work?
The vector converter uses image tracing to detect edges and shapes in your uploaded image. It converts them into SVG path elements (scalable vector graphics) or DXF format (for CAD applications like AutoCAD, FreeCAD and LibreCAD). Best results come from high-contrast images: black lines on white paper, or scanned technical drawings.
Does Quick Image work on mobile?
Yes. Quick Image is fully responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. You can select images from your camera roll and download the output directly to your device. All tools function identically on mobile and desktop.
